Dear Dr. Godek, Nathalie, and Staff,
I want to thank you for making my Holiday Season so wonderful and full of joy, laughter, and unexpected surprises. My special “courage” gift will remain one of my most treasured keepsakes…a keepsake which will remind me of my reconstruction time as, rather than a time of sadness and uncertainty, a time for hope and new beginnings.
During this Holiday season, I have had time to reflect on my experience in your office, or as your logo refers to it, a Personal Enhancement Center (PEC). I am sure Dr. Godek put much time and thought into selecting this logo, and for many it can mean different things.
For me, the “Personal” goes far beyond the obvious. “Personal” to me represents the personal attention that Dr. Godek and his staff give to each and every one of their patients. You are all so good at listening and tailoring care based on the specific needs of each patient. For me, my reconstruction was not a personal choice per se, but your “personal” care helped making my decision regarding the type of surgery I would have that much easier.
The “Enhancement” you provide will obviously change me physically, but during the process I realized that the physical enhancement that will happen on the outside of my body will also impact what happens within me. Until now, I never thought much about plastic surgery and perhaps had a preconceived notion about physical enhancement. Now that I have experienced firsthand the surgical change in my body, I can honestly say that my eyes and mind have been opened to the importance of what you all do each and every day at your office. You really are changing body, mind, and soul.
The “Center” is the office where you all come together as a team to help your patients become the best of themselves. Your center is both a team and a family. It is obvious that you all care for each other like a family, but I have seen and experienced the way you treat your patients like family as well. You made me feel like a part of your family. And my family is so incredibly grateful for the healing you have given to me…their mom, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
In closing, my words could never express the sincere gratitude I have for Dr. Godek and the entire PEC family. I am thankful for all of you, and I wish you all a blessed Holiday season and an amazing and prosperous New Year.
