EndyMed™ Skin Tightening

As we age, the elasticity of our skin is negatively affected by a number of different environmental and lifestyle factors, the combination of which can often lead to lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity in numerous areas of the body and face. While surgical procedures have traditionally been the most effective methods for tightening and smoothing the skin for a more youthful aesthetic, there are several non-surgical treatments now available that can help notably improve skin elasticity without the need for needles, incisions, and/or extensive downtime.

At the Personal Enhancement Center, our plastic surgeon, Dr. Christopher P. Godek and our team offer EndyMed™ – a non-invasive technique designed to tighten skin on both the face and body. Proven to help reduce skin laxity while minimizing lines and wrinkles, this advanced treatment employs revolutionary 3DEEP™ RF technology to encourage the natural development of new collagen deep within the foundational layers of the skin. In some cases, patients may also benefit from moderate contouring in the targeted treatment area. After a series of approximately six treatment sessions, you can enjoy firmer, rejuvenated skin with lasting results.

The EndyMed™ Treatment

EndyMed™ can be utilized to smooth and tighten skin on numerous regions of the body, including the face, neck, abdomen, chest, arms, buttocks, and knees. During treatment, a uniquely designed handheld device is used to direct thermal-regulated radiofrequency (RF) energy deep into dermal and subdermal layers of skin in the targeted area(s), effectively leaving surrounding tissues undamaged. Once delivered, this RF energy works to instantaneously promote the production of new collagen, helping to gradually tighten and smooth the skin as more collagen is grown over time. The entire treatment process usually takes approximately one to two hours to complete, though this will ultimately depend on how many areas are being addressed.

Some degree of redness may be present initially following treatment, but this symptom should subside relatively quickly and can generally be concealed with makeup. Due to its non-invasive nature, the majority of individuals experience little to no discomfort during and/or after the EndyMed™ procedure, and most feel well enough to return to their normal daily routines as soon as they leave our office. As new collagen continues to be produced, the tone, texture, and elasticity of the skin should gradually improve over time. To achieve optimal results, a total of about six treatments scheduled one to two weeks apart may be necessary.
