After the Procedure
Within a few days after facelift surgery, and after you have had time to heal, the dressings and sutures are removed. Bruising and swelling after a facelift procedure are usually minimal, but ultimately depend on the extent of the surgery. In most cases, these side effects diminish within a week or two, at which time normal activities may be resumed.
